Das perfekte Frühstück, wenn Sie nur 5 Minuten Zeit haben! Und es ist so lecker, so lecker auf geröstetem Brot :)
The perfect poached egg
Breakfast / Brunch
2 organic eggs
1 organic avocado
50g seeds, I used sunflower seeds
Some organic olive oil
Juice of ½ organic lemon
¼ bunch of fresh herbs, I used cress
Salt & pepper, to taste
First and most importantly, make sure your egg is really fresh! Crack your egg into a small cup, this makes it easier to slide it into the pot.
Bring a pot with water (~ 6cm deep) to a simmer (quarterly heated, there should only be small bubbles rising) and add a drop of vinegar. With a whisk, stir the water to create a gentle swirl. Slowly slide the egg into the centre of the swirl.
Cook for 3 minutes to ensure the perfect liquid consistency.
Lift the egg out with a slotted spoon and drain it on kitchen paper.
Cut the avocado into small pieces. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper, to taste and some sesame and sunflower seeds. Add a little organic olive oil and place the poached egg on it.
